A Tsunami is a real threat along any coast, anywhere. In fact they’re part of the reason that Harbor News got started, but that’s a story for another day.
If you live, work, or visit in a coastal region, know that in the event of a Tsunami warning you should get to higher ground as quickly and calmly as possible. A Tsunami is a rare event, but that doesn’t mean that warnings should be ignored. Safety officials will give the all clear when appropriate.
