It’s been an amazing thing to watch a community pull together, not once but twice, in recent weeks
to deal with fire and floods. To lend a hand to neighbors and complete strangers. To watch first responders run into harm’s way so that others are removed from that same harm. The divisions that have become part of everyday life are gone as we focus on a common goal, that is true community. Something worth striving for together..
