On of the most common ways people get injured or killed is by falling overboard while out boating. If the vessel is being operated safely that should cause someone to fall overboard, but there are a number of other reasons it could happen, and that’s why it’s a good idea to have a life vest on at all times, that alone would significantly increase a persons survival odds should they fall into the water.
