Yesterday was the 73rd birthday of the Coast Guard Auxiliary, and we’d like to wish them a Happy Birthday and thank them for all that they do.
Congress established the Coast Guard Auxiliary on June 23, 1939, and they been working tirelessly ever since to ensure the safety of the boating public, all on a volunteer, unpaid basis. This truly is selfless dedication to the rest of us.
