Politics aside, we, as a nation, need to make a serious assessment of our infrastructure needs. What we need now, and certainly what we will need in the future.
It’s unfortunate that a State like California moves ahead with dismantling agencies such as the Department of Boating and Waterways, in a shortsighted game of politics.
The safety of the public will be most certainly be put at a greater risk as a result of this.
