Missing swimmer spotted

The U.S. Coast Guard suspended the search Monday for a missing swimmer after a friend of the man reported seeing him before the swimmer’s concerned relatives called for help, a U.S. Coast Guard spokesman said.Coast Guard Petty Officer 1st Class Luke Clayton said Timothy Akins was seen at a store about 8 p.m. Sunday by a friend and as a result the Coast Guard stopped the search Monday morning.
