The Daboll Trumpet

We thought we’d go with a little trivia today. So, here we go. The first automated foghorn was the Daboll Trumpet, invented by Robert Foulis, inspired by his daughter’s piano playing… specifically the low frequency notes, which seemed to carry further.

Tradition

Our heritage is tide to the sea, the bounty of it sustains us. It’s the source of life on this planet, and we need to respect it. It should be a tradition never to forget this.
