Diver Drowns

Santa Barbara diver Andres Martinez appears to have drowned while diving near Santa Cruz Island. Has body was found by the Coast Guard and an investigation is underway as to the circumstances of the apparent accident. Our condolences go out to friends and family of Mr. Martinez.

June rolls in with fog, in typical fashion, along the California coast. The nice thing about it is that it keeps the temperature down. Nature’s air conditioning, the funny thing is that it’s so predictable. So, here’s to fog. Enjoy your weekend folks, and stay safe.

Horse Rescue

The Santa Barbara Harbor Patrol rescued a horse about two and a half miles off the California coast on the evening of May 16th.
