Software Update

The software update and switch over is going much slower than expected. Part of the problem is having a vendor in a different time zone, and the other part is having support staff unavailable when needed to resolve network issues and updates. We will march forward nonetheless.

Testing

Our new billing software has been installed, now comes the testing and refining of the system. Let the learning begin.

New Software

Next week we will begin running tests of some new software, looking for things that need improvement and getting up to speed on new ways of doing things. Always a challenge, but often times worth the effort. We will keep you posted on the project.

Is it really helpful?

Lately, we’ve been bogged down with hardware and software issues. We’ve been struggling through them and making the most of the situation, but it sure does cause on to pause and question whether or not if all this technology is as helpful is it claims to be.

Site Maintenance

We’ve had some technical issues, so, we’ll be doing some trouble shooting and site maintenance. Good thing to do from time to time.

New Software

We’re moving along into 2017 and will be testing out some new accounting software for the Santa Barbara Harbor, once again. This means working out all the bugs and getting all set to get up and running. More to follow.
