There’s been a number of tragic accidents so far this summer, and some of them could have been prevented. We’re not hear to preach, just to remind folks to follow some basic safety guidelines, and to use some common sense.
Here’s four quick tips:
1. Don’t overcrowd your boat. Three children died this month because of a vessel overturned.
2. Don’t run at night, especially without proper equipment.
3. Don’t go boating under the influence.
4. Wear a PFD.
