Boats do catch on fire for a variety of reasons with often deadly results. Our response is often what makes the difference in our survival and that of our passengers, have a plan and share it with other you’re boating with. Practice your plan and pray you never need it. It does make a difference.

We woke up to find that the #ThomasFire has moved into Santa Barbara and that parts of town are being evacuated. This fire has been a beast the refuses to die. Let’s hope they can get a handle on this thing soon.
The California fire rage on, showing us the power of nature. An unstoppable force to be respected. For those of us in the area, the best we can do is to keep our distance and let things take their corse. Be safe folks.
After a week, the fires in California continue to burn out of control. Safety, as always, is the first priority of firefighters. Please take heed to their warnings and help out others. Let’s hope they get things under control soon.
