Here in California El Nino was supposed to save the state from the drought it’s been in for years. That didn’t happen. Too often we give science and technology more credit than they deserve and put our faith in them, rather than plan for things we know will eventually happen like droughts. As California rolls into the Spring and Summer months this could end up having dire consequences. There was a time when we knew better, let’s hope that we come to our senses before it’s too late.
